Ekiuwa Asemota has to be THE MOST talented jewelry designer of my time. No exaggeration. Her jewelry has a deep connection to the aesthetic of the African continent with its bright tones and chunky textures. I'm pretty sure she gets much of her inspiration from her native Nigeria. Each piece tells its own own story. Yesterday, I had the esteemed pleasure of obtaining one of her pieces that she made especially for my birthday.
